MY PRIORITIES

The most excellent tool for socioeconomic mobility should be education. New Jersey is currently the #2 ranked school system in the country. We have great schools and outstanding teachers. Mount Laurel Schools must build on our world-class education to produce the next generation of leaders and thinkers.

When parents send their children off to school, there should be a feeling of peace knowing their child is safe. For many, that sense of security has been lost. As your Board Member, I will work hard to ensure our schools are safe and our children and teachers protected. There is no price we can place on the next generation's well-being. I will do all I can to ensure they have a bright future.

As your board member, I will work to protect teachers' rights. You cannot have strong schools without solid teachers. One example of how weakening teachers hurt their students is the issue of dedicated prep time. Educators need dedicated duty-free preparation time to do their best for students during the workday. I will also work to ensure that teachers receive adequate pay. I will be a strong advocate for teachers' salaries. I will seek solutions to protect teachers and students from losing other rights teachers' unions have fought hard to win.

Home is more than just the walls you live within. It is where you shop and where you interact with friends and family, it is where your kids go to school and play, it is where you make new friends, it's where you create lasting memories, and it's where we live. Our community says much about who we are and what we will become. All the Mount Laurel schools should be involved and care for our communities. As a district, we should take pride in our community and ensure we keep it vibrance, viable and safe for years to come through school involvement.
